They are doing so, but it does not matter. Joel Send a noteboard - 30/08/2012 03:26:47 PM
I am trying to determine whether most of the speakers bleating about having built everything entirely by themselves were being duplicitous and deliberately misrepresenting what Obama and Warren have said, or of they're actually idiots.

As discussed in Artsapats thread, the Information Age has ironically gone far toward trivializing facts with undesired contents/sources. Reactions will be from:

Die-hard conservatives, who will dismiss exposure of the lies as liberal media spin; Fox will corroborate that for them nightly,

Die-hard liberals, whose preferred sources long ago exposed the lies and

The vast majority of the public that could not care less about politics and will consequently never notice lies nor exposure.

The last group will hear about both over the watercooler, but probably conclude it is just the left and right trading hyperbolic accusations again. Republicans seemingly CANNOT stop telling lies about Dems, whose sole hope is thus to keep telling the truth about them and pray people listen: Two party addition by subtraction. :[

EDIT: Multiple other examples, much good may it do http://politicalwire.com/archives/2012/08/30/the_most_dishonest_convention_speech_ever.html
