I've been living here for a few months and it's pretty good.
On the one hand, you can't expect everything that, say, New York City has. (like 24 hour subway, or weird art scenes.)
On the other hand, it's a pretty city at night, and once you get used to them, law school students aren't that bad.
If I lived in DC, I would visit the Smithsonian like once a week.
