Apparently the producers hired actors/crew and filmed what was supposed to be an entirely different low budget movie about tribes in Egypt, complete with script and everything, and then later, without telling anyone or asking any of the actors, dubbed over their lines and recut the film to make it into Innocence of Muslims. I read a thing from one of the actors who was quite upset about this.
