Another good point; well said. - Edit 1

You're essentially taking his statement and saying that Eli is only good at managing the game and Romo is a very talented QB. Now I do think Romo is a bit more talented than Eli, but Eli is pretty damn talented himself. His numbers are pretty solid in general. Eli is less talented, but not so much that your statement can really be taken into account. An above average talented QB who is a pretty good game manager is indeed better than a very talented QB who lacks solid game manager consistency. At best, you can put them even.
Romo probably has more physical ability and learned skill, but it is not like Eli is a stumblebum; his genes as well as his stats argue against that. Coupled with the mental/emotional toughness to crack/choke far less often, that makes him the better QB, IMHO. At halftime of their games yesterday the Giants were down 27-16 and the Cowboys 13-7, yet the former came back to win by a TD and the latter never scored again. Manning had three picks in the first half (including a pick six) but finished the day with a win, 3 TDs and twice as many yards as Romo (within about a dozen yards of a team record, in fact.)
The difference was more than likely that Romo spent halftime thinking Oh, no, not again, while Eli was thinking, Not on MY watch!
