I was questioning the value of a study that takes a self-selected sub group and applies it the population as a whole. As far as the Netherlands go typically what I see when people make those arguments is that often comes to down to demographics. If you compare the Netherlands, which is primary affluent whites, with the affluent whites in America I doubt the difference is all that great.
If you actually read what I said I was not opposed to birth control or sex education, I was not even opposed to providing free birth control to people who cannot afford it but I do think it is a bad idea play politics with it and give birth control special status where it provided at no cost to everyone when other drugs are not treated that way.
