OK., I've reached London! Sports_Gambler Send a noteboard - 09/10/2012 09:11:05 PM
Staying in an extremely cool atmospheric hostel near Swiss Cottage, 'Palmer's Lodge', this place looks like a Victorian mansion or something, there's a cosy bar area downstairs and a big quiet side room with tables, plugs for wifi etc.

Might skip across the channel on EuroStar to see how things are going in Germany, France and Spain. Should get back to Britain late November, will start to make my way northwards by train, checking out Bath, Oxford and Cambridge, ETA in Edinburgh, 7th of Dec. I'm inclined to stay in Edinburgh over the entire Christmas period (I don't want to be travelling around over that period), so will probably be in Edinburgh right until the New Year. That will also give me a chance to check out Hogmanay.
