You don't have to know. That's the point of NaNo. You just write and get to 50,000. No Plot? No PROBLEM! Just keep writing! The more you do it, the easier it gets!

Just sit down and start writing... That sounds like a good idea in theory, and I've actually tried it at least a couple of times. But unfortunately it has never worked for me. I even tried using writeordie.com once or twice, and that didn't help either. If I don't have an idea, then I just don't have an idea... And wind up writing about how I don't have an idea. Is there some secret to it I'm missing?
I may try in the second half of the month though. I was convincing someone else to give it a shot just earlier today, so it would be hypocritical of me to do otherwise!
Because I want to write something *good* and I don;t know where to go or how to make the story compelling.
When you are writing like this they tell you not to look back, just keep writing, but it's making last year's novel a pain in the arse to edit. I was ALL OVER the place and I am still note entirely sure if I've told the story well or not... meh.
At least I have written 50,000 words of a novel... even if it isn't really finished.
