But IN has always been red. Joel Send a noteboard - 12/11/2012 07:00:09 PM
Could Indiana have gone red any faster?

I spent some time in Florida a couple weeks ago, and I definitely grew a healthy respect for the crap the swingers have to go through before the elections. Yuck.

I mean, so had OH, but the GOP really screwed the pooch sending all the union jobs to China then patting themselves on the back for it. When I saw the IN result in 2008 I had to pick my jaw up off the floor, then LMFAO at just how BADLY McCain got beaten. I just cannot understand how Obama won IN without winning MO. Long term though, outside MO I think we may look back on '08 and '12 as realignment elections that ousted the GOP from their last toehold in the Midwest, incidentally booting them from the Southwest and Midsouth into the bargain. That really does not leave them much; they better get their stuff together and learn how to pander to someone beside white men soon.
