The head and neck area is a pretty small target and is packed with very critical body parts. :P She apparently managed to hit that small target five times without touching the windpipe, carotid, jugular, brain, spinal cord, etc. That seems incredibly unlikely to me. I was just surprised is all.


I kept expecting to read in the story that he eventually died. 38s are the only reason he's alive I think. Any bigger caliber and it's lights out.


yes, it's quite remarkable that such injuries are survivable, but i guess not as unlikely as you would suspect...
