You are reading words on a screen formed by letters which are just lines shaped into unique symbols. We've all bought into an agreement that these symbols, letters, words have somewhat unique meanings and we store these meanings in our heads. So the question is, if I write something, and you think what I write is implying something more than what it said, am I the one that implied it or does the implication lay with you, the interpreter?
