I almost never let (or it just doesn't happen to me) lyrics influence my mood. When lyrics aren't sophomoric, I do appreciate the poetry of them. Instead, the music itself influences my mood. In the case of AiC, I've never felt depressed listening to their music.

Otherwise, yeah, Dirt is brilliant.
