And how close together do you experience these emotions? Because it's impossible to love and hate someone simultaneously, but you could certainly love a person at times or for certain things, and despise the same person for others and at other times. Guess it comes down to which side wins out, and how tolerant you can be. It seems more than possible to me though. I'm not a believer in being able to love or hate a person in their entirety.
