I'm generally of the opinion that how far right/left someone is actually has very little to do with their electability. Obama really was on record as very left of center, or even center for elected democrats, and middle-of-the-road doesn't seem to matter much, just impression of being more centrist then the other guy which rarely relates to reality. You're probably right though, but I was posting likely primary candidates not forecasting November.
