Vol XV: Comic Crossover

A lot of characters have begun in comic books only to enter the realms of TV and movies, while others have begun as book or films or games and turned into comic book characters.

From the clues below name the comic book character, each of these have also appeared in other formats besides comic books and/or originated elsewhere. Some of those other mediums are listed but shouldn't be expected to be exclusive. Quiz is good for 16 points, any of the regular names for the character are valid.

  1. (Comic/TV/Movie) I have a metallic skeleton, fast healing and am usually listed as Canadian.

  2. (Comic/TV/Movie) Many a great villain has a Dr. or ‘von’ in their name, as the greatest of them I have both. I hail from the nation of Latveria from where I plot to bring doom upon my enemies.

  3. (Book/Comic) From the royal line of a people known for their lack of ethics, I am very good at swords and sorcery, though perhaps most recognizable for my albinism and most feared for my sword Stomrbringer.

  4. (Mythology/Comic/Movie) Best known for my mischievous ways, I was recently played by actor Tom Hiddleston in a pair of popular films.

  5. (Movie/Book/Comic) Best known from film, then Marvel Comics, I eventually reappeared in Dark Horse Comics’ 1991-92 series ‘Dark Empire’ along with my twin sister and most of the original cast and eventually ended up fighting sabre to sabre against the resurrected Emperor of the Dark Empire mentioned.

  6. (Comic/Movie) Re-appearing in a 2009 film from my original role in this mid-80’s comic book, I have a very black and white attitude on good and evil, reflected in my mask, which is entirely black and white though admittedly not very stylish, it just look like a lot of inkblots.

  7. (Comic/Movie/TV) Quicker than a fast projectile, I immigrated to the US as a child and was raised on a farm before taking up an interest in journalism.

  8. (Comic/Movie) A classic character recently appearing in film, I'm part of a universe-spanning group of heroes who share little in common in terms of origin but an apparent fondness for the color green.

  9. (Comic/Movie/TV) I've a magnetic personality and some might say I resemble Gandalf, though I'm of more current times.

  10. (Comic/Movie/TV) First appearing in Strange Tales #110, I used to be a talented surgeon before taking an interest in more arcane matters.

  11. (Comic/TV/Movie) Originally appearing in Image Comics, as a former assassin I found myself consigned to Hell. I eventually returned to Earth badly disfigured and found out my wife had remarried and had a kid.

  12. (Comic/TV/Movie) Best known for my invisible vehicle, golden lasso, and skimpy crime-fighting attire, I am a well-known member of the Justice League.

  13. (Comic/TV/Movie) As a walking example of why radiation is not your friend, I have incredible anger management issues.

  14. (Comic/TV/Movie) As a wealthy man with the coolest utility belt ever, I fight crime in my fictional city, sometimes alone, sometimes as part of a dynamic team, ranging from a duo up to a full league of justice seekers.

  15. (Comic/TV/Movie) Know as a Genius Billionaire Playboy Philanthropist, I can't be bothered with secret identities.

  16. (Comic/TV/Movie) As a powerful telekinetic with a habit of rising from the ashes – frequently ashes I just made – I'm one of the founding members of a team of superheroes who are often discriminated against by the public.
