Which is the case for me at least. But "Kansas" is a dead give-away, and "cyclone" also helps in the sense that it creates associations with Kansas. I didn't even notice the "streetwalker" thing, my eyes glimpsed "Kansas" and that was that. I might have gotten your other description, combining the little girl thing with the craven man, but it'd have been more of a guess.
