I only got 10a and 11a because of the hints you left in the question. But I knew what an Einstein-Rosen Bridge was without having to know the show involved, thanks to reading Dresden Codak.

The ones I missed were 1b (smacked my forehead after looking at the answer, because I should have remembered that), 2b (I didn't know and so cheekily guessed the negatron), 5a, 7a (another one I should have remembered, but it's a Saturday), and 12a (I've never actually seen Blade Runner, but by now I know that 1982 plus androids plus Dick stories equals etc.).
