Congratulations! I hope the hips will improve, although if my personal experiences are any guidance (I'm also glad to be male...) she'll likely get worse.

Some women never notice any discomfort, even at full term, others have frequent pain the rest of their lives; most (hopefully including my wife) fall somewhere in the middle.

Thanks; at the moment I am concerned summer may have ended last week, but we shall see if the sun peeks back out before the dog days are past.
