Light and Darkness are as fire and wind. Fire brings warmth and comfort yet it withers that which it touches. The wind blows cold, lifting soil into the air, yet it also bears the seeds of earth. Each, then, brings both life and death.

The positions popularity with the US right (at least when the president is either a Democrat opposed to or Republican in favor of military action) was purely coincidental.
