..., yes, it's funny to see how to works. Almost like a real life version of the West Wing. Of course, we don't see the level of detail to really understand what's going on (nor do we have a view of frantic walking through long corridors with intelligent people and fast conversation), but we know enough to see it's a circus.

In addition, as a Dutch Journo (@JLbankingblog), pointed out yesterday: "And now a word of thanks to the Republicans who have managed, against all odds, to make Europe look like a reasonably functional place." This can only be good for Europe in the long run, if only to ween us from our American (economic, political and social) dependency.
(As if the NSA scandals aren't enough for some people, accumulating into this and this type of creepiness. Not to mention the British who are now learning from their American friends. But that's a different point.)

But, as Joel mentioned, I can't imagine enjoying this if you're living there. It really starts to ruin parts of your own country. I can't imagine what they're trying to accomplish by withholding the vote.
