View original postI'd really love to give the Greek government the benefit of the doubt considering who their target is but this seems very, very close to outlawing an organization because of its beliefs, rather than cracking down on a criminal conspiracy to commit violence. It's hard to get many clean details in the news I've read but so far the only thing even bordering on probable cause I've heard was that the murderer of the singer knew one of the people arrested. I'm going to give the Greek gov't the benefit of the doubt that I either am missing details or they're keeping their evidence quiet for the moment but this doesn't look good. It seems less like justice cracking down on a criminal organization and more like thugs going after other thugs.

View original postGranted, I called them a nasty bunch in my post, but I did think it seemed like a thin stretch to link a murder by a member of the group (or is he actually just a supporter?) and take down an entire organization with a legitimately won political presence. I have seen a few tidbits indicating that they have former members who helped the prosecution make links, but I haven't heard too much more since I saw that about a week ago.

Nobody has said a word about evidence where I've seen it, reinforcing my feeling it's thug on thug political theater. We'll see, if it is a pure political maneuver it ought to be pretty obvious before much longer.

The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.
