View original postI'm imagining a Free French attaché to Major Major or General Scheisskopf's staff

We had a list going one time of only the one's we'd met...

Seamen Guzzler
Seamen Swallows
Seamen Spitz
Sergeant Savage (common)
Major Dick
Major Wood (many, many of those)
Captain Obvious (his photo makes the rounds)
Captain Crunch
Colonel Richard Head was post commander of Langley for a while and later General Dick Head apparently.
Same, a Sgt Richard Munch, also a junior officer Richard Wadd apparently bound for especially severe torment if he made major.
... and tons more

In all fairness since most military nicknames are monosyllabic and often 4-letter words its not too bad I suppose

The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.
