So it's been been just shy of 7 years since I got to do a post from an evacuation center. <irony> Good Times </irony> So for any who are looking at the news, the Carlsbad fire is less than half a mile from me. I was actually able to see the fire from my front door (once I was able to leave work and get home that is). Meanwhile, my brother (roommate) is trapped on the other side of the San Marcos fire (he was at work). Meanwhile the smoke from two more of the fires is visible from here. I say all this to say fire season sucks....if I have to rebuild my book collection.... again .....I may have to give up paper books and move to e-books. Re-building physical collections isn't fun.
