A critic will see fault first, and set other considerations aside. But surely you can recognize the perception that others have, yes?

Perception vs. Substance has been an on-going issue for President Obama. I would guess that it has been an issue for every President at one point or another. However President Obama seems to repeatedly brush up against the thought that he can typically deliver in-front of the camera, but consistently falls short off camera.
