i never met you or your husband, but i know how hard it is to watch someone slowly deteriorate. i had a friend who died from cancer, and watching their slow decline was not something i would wish on anyone. i hope your husband is able to make it through the last stretch with a minimal of pain and you have my deepest sympathies.
