You could look for a split with 3 or 4 acres of lawn and another 4 or 5 off wooded/field usable for hunting. That would be my ideal. A good mower with a wide deck and the lawn isn't nearly as bad as one might think. I grew up cutting 3.5 every week or two and it only took about 3 hours on a 1956 Ford riding with I'm guessing a 3 foot deck at most (can't remember for sure but it wasn't very big).
