Probably grandma's gumbo, which is quite a bit different than Ghavrel's gumbo.
In the interest of getting you more variety (because shrike's answer is my second choice), I'll say Italian food - especially something with a spicy, fennel-y sausage and a good, rich tomato sauce. Herby, of course. Peppers optional. Parmesan necessary.
