Cops tried to grab him, he shook them off, then they seized him and killed him in the process; that is not "fighting with cops," or rather, it is merely defending himself in a fight COPS STARTED. Unless he was trying to kill THEM, they had no right to kill HIM, intentionally or otherwise, and are thus legally liable for the fact they did it anyway.
