No, I am being 100% serious. - Edit 2

Then why are you pro-life? In that case, it is a private medical procedure, that is no one's business but the for-lack-of-a-better-word mother's. My objection to abortion is solely and entirely based on it being infanticide. No more and no less.

I am pro-life because, despite what they believe and the law states, I KNOW they are killing children. Yes, it is a heinous sin. Yes, it is the theft of the very reason for existence. Yes it is terrible, but...

The pro-life movement has enough problems, with the media never forgetting about the very-regrettable abortion clinic bombings in the '90s, and the crazies who killed some abortionists.

Don't make our cause any more difficult by saying things like this, man. It hurts the cause, and only dredges up the regrettable mistakes of the past.

But no babies are dying there, so I'm not entirely sure what was the mistake. I rather have people think ill of me and my ilk, while being too afraid to kill their babies. This is not a contest to advance our personal popularity, it is about people not killing children. Oderint dum metuant.

... but, isn't killing abortionists commiting the exact same crime they are guilty of? If an abortionist steals a childs life, and we then steal the abortionists', we are just as guilty as they are! Yes, we have stolen significantly less time, but then again, the child they aborted could have gotten hit by a car at age 6!

Look, I am not so naive as to believe that everyone has the same opinions as myself, even on issues we agree on. However, I was born and raised in the South, by a mother who stood at the forefront of the Pro-Life movement that sparked up in the '80s and continues to this day. And one thing she always stressed to me, was that you can not be "Pro-Life", AND support the killing of ANYONE. If you're pro-life, you MUST support life.

Now, there are a few cases where I struggle with that stance, such as with mass-murderers or, as you said, child-molesters. But the difference there is that, they are condemned not only by their sins, but by their crimes against society as well. It is NEVER in one person's power to decide to rob another of life, but I do feel that if a society feels it necessary, it should be allowed.

Society has no issue with abortionists, and as sad as that is, it must influence how we behave towards them. It is not our right to decide that they should die.

EDIT And all this ignores the fact that you cannot advance a cause through fear, only through truth. The ONLY way we're going to stop abortion in this country is through reasoning and proofs, proving that that bundle of human tissue is actually a human being. Making people fear us will simply make them hate us, and making them hate us does nothing except hurt the truth.
