4pi is an exact while 12.57 is an estimate. If you were not told to estimate then it should be counted wrong. If the answer 1/3 and you gave 1.333 you would e wrong because 1.333 does not equal 1/3 and 4pi does not equal 12.57 even if you did more work to get there.
