I would be willing to consider someone else with that message random thoughts Send a noteboard - 08/03/2016 05:30:41 PM

Hell Bernie Sanders is anti-war and anti-free trade. If someone other than Trump was running on a platform that questioned our trade practices and military adventurism I would be more than willing to listen but his top issue can't be start a trade war with Mexico to pay for a wall that will accomplish almost nothing. He has to be answer question with something other than bluff and swagger and he has accept the referring to polls is pointless and having the mob at your back doesn't make assume you must be right. He can't take one radical position on foreign policy after another that he has to later walk back. He was opposed to war in Afghanistan until was for a week later and claimed he had never opposed it. He claims he can just order the military to commit war crimes before he has to walk that back. His knowledge of foreign policy doesn't seem to stretch even to the wiki level of understanding and his budget is a joke.

There is a minimum level of poise and decorum I expect from my president and Trump does not even come close to meeting that. I think Rubio has cemented Cruz as the Trump alternative by sinking to Trump's level with the hands comment. Trump may be right on some position issues but he falls short in so many other categories and seems incapable of explaining his positions in anything but the vaguest terms. He does even seem committed to any of his positions and while flexibility is important so is a core value system and beyond winning and trusting him he has done very little to show me that value system.

I hate Cruz and I am not a giant fan of Rubio but I at least consider them conservatives and I can hold my nose and pull the lever for them. If it is Trump I will have to see who is on the libertarian ticket.
