the only thing this means is that a different section of the Voting Rights Act will now be applied to North Carolina's laws, because there is absolutely zero chance a republican-controlled branch of the federal government is going to pass a revised version of the struck down provision. as our own resident racist cannoli has pointed out, minorities tend to vote Democratic

i suppose since the GOP has no actual policy ideas that aren't "give more money to billionaires" it's no wonder they have to rig elections in order to hold onto power.
