it will never be anything more than a story loosely based on the books. I try and judge things like on if they would be good if I had never read the book. I would rather have good show that played fast and loose with the books than a crappy show that tried to stay to close.

Their is extremely strong emotional attachment. Unlike American Gods which looks great, but which is based off of a book that I enjoyed but only read once.
