View original postI just can't see them making the rest of it without making it suck the way the later books did, so I'm not sure there's a point to it. Maybe if they made Taim Demandred and reworked the entire later books to make an 8-season series with books 1-6 each one season, then 2 more to make a better and more dynamic ending...

But much of what I dislike would be lost in a tv series anyway. My hope would be that the last few books could be cleaned up for tv, and returned to "Jordan". He was excellent at some things, and we obviously lost that in the forced wrap-up that we got. So, cut the crap, enhance the stories that should have been finalized properly ... I'm optimistic about this. What scares me is the actor selection, whether favorite people and scenes will be right, etc. Same with any adaptation.
