Keep in mind this used to be part of Mexico and the Mexican American culture has roots here over two hundred years old. Texmex isn't something that was bought here and changed it is something that free here over time and is its own authentic style of food.
I'm making gyros. I can't explain how much I miss American versions of, well, everything.
