Yes.

But I agree that the real-life situation is not a valid comparison. The parents didn't choose to have an obese baby, the baby just grew up that way.. call it the will of God, call it genetics, call it what you will.. unlike someone that builds their house on the edge of the Gulf, they have a valid choice to build in other places. So in that respect, you are correct. But I was trying to make a point about assessing risk.
