Truth told, Peyton Manning is still pathetic in the playoffs. The Super Bowl he won was won by Bob Sanders, Joseph Addai, and Dominic Rhodes. Manning was terrible in those playoffs, though he and the Colts did win The Worst NFL Playoff Game of All Time: Colts over Ravens. Fail.
So, to sum up: if the public gets behind Jay Cutler he'll be the next John Elway (even if he doesn't play for the Broncos). If they don't, he'll just be a great QB with a bad reputation.
Just thought I'd share this ridiculous comment from the NFL forums...
