I grew up in New England, and now I live in North Carolina. When fall finally rolls around, it just seems like the weather is what it should be again; the way it was most of the year up in Maine. The air is crisp, not stifling. It's not miserable just to step outside the door anymore. You no longer curse your decision to buy a black car.
