He was a major grower back in the day, although his was mostly of the hemp varienty. Funny how our first President was a criminal by our current laws.
I'm hopeful this is a step towards full legalization, at least in a few states. The entire plant is such a valuable resource, it's practically a crime that it can't be farmed as heavily as something like wheat.
