1. Have you had swine flu? What was it like for you? (Symptoms, duration.)

No

No

3. Is your local community being affected? What measures are they taking now?

Supposedly it is wide spread in Vermont, but I work in retail and so far no one I know has been affected. Hospitals in the state are restricting access by visitors to some parts of their hospitals. Unfortunately we have had a hard time getting enough of the vaccine to go around.

4. Have you ever been quarantined for any reason? What was it? How did you amuse yourself in the meantime?

Well I had chicken pox when I was very young and had to stay in my room. My parents brought me coloring books and dolls and a music box with a ballerina and other stuff to amuse a six year old. I remember growing bored despite their best efforts. On the upside my younger sister had to stay out of our shared bedroom.

5. Are you nervous about swine flu, or do you still think it's been overblown?

I'm not nervous for myself, no. I am nervous for people I know with young children.
