Agree in that I greatly appreciate what Neb has done here, and to show my gratitude, will try to participate here than I have during the past few years on Wotmania in hopes that this succeeds fantastically.
However, I do have to take issue with the dumping on Mike. Yes, he checked out a while ago. Yes, wotmania had been an after thought for him for a while. And yes, he continued to halfheartedly pull the strings from behind the curtain, but...
Even after he no longer cared about the series (or the site) he continued to at least make it an afterthought. He continued to pull the strings enough that the site remained functional. He even gave us a warning soon enough in advance that we could figure out alternatives before it went down.
Thankyou Mike. Thankyou for creating a site that brought so many people together. Thankyou Mike for supporting it for so long, even when your heart wasn't fully in it. Thankyou Mike for giving us the chance to continue in the shadow of your creation and we hope to see you here, mingling among your offspring.
