I actually like how you're somehow bringing selfrighteousness into this. I didn't even bring up what I would do in the situation. In this entire instance, I haven't even mentioned me...in the least. So how you brought me into this is just stupid foolish on your part.

Hmmm....childish view of the scriptures? Where do you get off thinking so? Last time I checked, you don't have advanced learning or education in Biblical Theology. Besides the fact that the theology of the Bible is soundly behind me (and not you), you have zero basis to call me to task, when this is the theology of the Church. And you can look at the Catholic Church....Eastern Orthodox...and the theologically sound Protestant churches as well.

I understand what you are saying that Jesus knows the venue of preaching. I get that as well, as not every instance is the time or place for an alter call, but it is always the time and place to bring up the fact that hope rests only in the Lord. Yes, Danny being there to lend comfort is a righteous thing, but ultimately it is only so much good works if the focus isn't on the Lord. What comfort can one give apart from the Lord. Their baby had just died. That baby is now in a state of Grace, but unless they believe, there will be no reunion with that child.

As I stated before, the fact that their (home) church wouldn't do anything is sad. Although I missed the part where they asked their pastor...instead of just looking for someone else. What more would I want Dannymac to do? I don't know what he did.

What I'm getting around to is stop calling me to task on stuff that you are uninformed about. Stop attempting to put the focus on me...when I didn't bring myself up at all, but instead asked a question on what he would do. I asked, in a polite manner I would add, because I was curious.
