Would you rather

have a serious, chronic mental illness, such as bipolar disorder,

or

have a serious, chronic physical illness, such as non-terminal cancer, cystic fibrosis, etc.?


I would have to pick the physical illness. I like to be somewhat in control of my emotional state, and I personally consider people with mental illnesses to have it tougher.
