It's important for you to tell her that you would rather go through this in (relative) privacy. See if you can get her another job, such as calling all the relatives, helping stock you with supplies, feeding your goldfish? She probably just wants to be involved, and it'll be difficult to not offend her when you tell her you don't want people in there, so you probably need a back-up job or something to suggest.
