The main reason I don't eat hot dogs?
There's no FDA/USDA definition of a hot dog.
if it's legal for consumption, it can be in a hot dog.
I don't mind eating offal--heck two of my favorite sausages are blood/tongue cold cuts and braunschweiger--but I at least want to know. Besides, hot dogs are mostly just binder anyways. Liquified unknown meat substance and flour. blagh.

Even years of living in sausage-obsessive Germany has not managed to break my general dislike for stuff packed into intenstines, I view it as a small step up from the stuff normally occupying intenstines. Get a nice black pudding (gag) and some blood sausage, thanks no. Having been raised a veggie (hippie mother) I doubt I would have ever become omnivorous had those been my first encounters with meat, and I use the term 'meat' very loosely there, meaning something coming from an animal. Thank God for medium-rare steak.
The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.

Our potatoes have been sprouting since, well... ever. And I don't think we buy them organic. *NM*

Our eyes grow and green up a little, but that's minor compared to when you buy organic.
