... I wouldn't blame Ben if he never added chat to this site. After all, how many forums do you know of that have an integrated chat? There are plenty of other ways for people to get together in an organized chat-like environment outside of wotmania (EDIT - damn, I mean outside of RAFO) if that's what they want.

I know there's an argument that wotmania chat was easy to use and hide at work without installing a chat program (you slackers). But again, I wouldn't blame Ben at all if he just didn't want it here. It's a luxury, not a forum necessity, and after several (apparently) good years of chat at wotmania, that luxury was abused endlessly there and became a constant source of stress and headache for whoever happened to be dealing with it at the time, and remained like that for years.

You'll say, give it another chance, we're better now, it'll go good, you can just kill it if it gets like that again. But it's up to Ben whether or not that's even worth his time and effort at this point.
