Do you hold a grudge?

I suck at holding grudges. I cannot remain angry for long.

If yes, do you give it up after a few years, or do you CONTINUE to hold a grudge (assume this is a person you still have to see for whatever reason)

A few years? I give up grudges after a few minutes, a few hours at best. Also, I'm not sure what constitutes a grudge. Does remembering something someone did that was rather unfriendly, but not actually boycotting that person in any way, constitute a grudge?

Aside from the obvious "its easier to let it go" (cuz sometimes it's just not - for whatever reason) Why do you eventually let a grudge go?

I think in the grand scheme of things, it's just not worth the hassle. I can't imagine investing lots of energy into remaining angry with someone and maintaining distance. I'll avoid people with whom I know I can't get along, but when I meet them I don't get angry again nor am I nasty to them.

If you don't hold a grudge, why do you let people walk all over you? (lol.. I'm kidding.. just answer this.. "why don't you hold a grudge?";)

Perhaps I do hold grudges? I remember times when my sister did things that were very unfriendly. But I still invite her over and still visit her, care about how she's doing wish her well in life in general. So I suppose that's not really a grudge.

I think mostly, I tend to work through things with the people that I care about. With people I don't care about, I also don't care enough to invest a lot of time and energy in disliking them. I'll just not invest any emotion in them.
