I am a dreamwalker? - Edit 3

Before modification by Burr at 31/12/2009 01:08:25 PM

I walk into the living room, and there's a strange little table that's never been there before. Oddly, as my eyes move about the room, it moves with them, first in the center of the room, then by the fireplace, then by the couch. This is very confusing until I realize that -- Holy crap! I'm lucid sleepwalking!

I figure I'm going to wake up any second, and I don't want to waste this opportunity. I fly. Or rather, I jump/float up to the peak of the ceiling, about ten feet up, and I touch the wooden beam and then discover I'm standing on the floor again.

Then, sure enough, I feel myself just starting to wake up. Only I'm not sleepwalking, I'm still in bed. So it was never really a lucid dream to begin with, it was just a regular dream about lucid dreaming. But then for the briefest of moments, I'm having an actual lucid dream about having a lucid dream, except before I can actually play with it I'm awake.

Surely this breaks some sort of mental law. Definitely some small part of my consciousness got pinched off and is now trapped inside my brain, waiting for me to fall asleep again.

Edit: I see something in the far corner of my eye. Should I make coffee or hide under the blanket?
