My dad only spanked me a very few times, when I mouthed off, but I barely remember that. They don't discipline Shelby, my little sister, the way they should, or they didn't start early enough and now she's one of the worst, most disrespectful kids I've ever seen. I've told mom and dad if they had put a stop to it by actually spanking her when she was bad instead of threatening to and then doing nothing about it, she'd be better.
