Usually suddenly and with extreme prejudice. I've also found that everyone who posts on the CMB today sooner or later arrives at Skype (except the guy who seems determined to avoid it. 
) Though technically it is no longer "today" but "tomorrow" so, once again, the future has arrived (you were only off by an hour, so don't feel bad.
