This is getting scary: Tight game, and in a tight game with Brett Favre... well, he's gotten a lot better, but I still liked it better when he played games like this AGAINST my teams. 21-21, and a much better game than the AFC Championship; barring some big injuries (and bearing in mind two Viking defenders are already playing with one hand only) this looks like the NFCs year. I'd be happy with a win by either, but definitely prefer the Vikes. Someone needs to staple that ball to Adrian Petersons pads, btw....
Ow... Aikman said earlier that the Saints DC was groomed by Buddy Ryan, who liked going after QBs (and he should know, since Buddy tried to end his career before it began) and it sure looks like it. Yet Aikman's on the defenders side this time; maybe the two concussion season did affect him.
Sigh... Favre wouldn't be Favre if he didn't throw picks in tight games, but I wonder how much of this is about headhunting. The Pro Bowler may not return; I guess we'll see just how tough he is....

Because of the chessgame; you put in defensive personnel based on who's in the huddle.

I really though Minnesota had the better team, but with all those fumbles it's hard to say that now.
